We claim the Creator-God as our heavenly Father, infinitely perfect, and intimately acquainted with all our ways (Psalm 139:1-6). He is the giver and sustainer of all life. He alone holds the keys to life and death (Revelation 1:18).
We proclaim Jesus Christ as God and our supreme authority. He is the second Person of the Godhead who came in flesh and who shed his blood on the cross to take away our sin (John 10:14-15, Colossians 2:19). He is the object of our worship and the subject of our praise (John 14:9-10).
We recognize the Holy Spirit as God, the third Person of the Godhead, also with the Father and the Son. He comes to live in believers the moment they place their faith in Jesus Christ for forgiveness (John 14:26-27). He works continuously convicting people of their sin, convincing them of their need for Christ, comforting followers of Jesus, and empowering believers to proclaim Christ and live in obedience (John 16:7-15).
We affirm our confidence in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, which has no errors in the original manuscripts (2 Timothy 3:15-16). With this confidence we therefore affirm the Biblical and literal account of creation, the virgin birth of Jesus, the miracles of Christ, and the bodily resurrection of the Lord after he had been dead for three days (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Exodus 20:11).
We confess that Adam's sin left humanity without hope of heaven apart from a new birth, which is made possible only by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:12-19).
We believe that the offer of salvation is God's love gift to all people (John 3:16-17, Romans 5:8). The first evidence of God's call is a willingness to repent or turn away from our sins (Acts 3:19, Matthew 4:17). Those who place their faith in Christ for the forgiveness of their sin, apart from works, are forgiven and receive eternal life (1 John 1:9, John 5:24).
We anticipate our Lord's promised visible return in power and glory. In view of His return we seek to please the Lord in all of life. We endeavor to forsake sin and seek to please the Lord with pure thoughts, godly attitudes, and righteous actions (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Ephesians 4:29-32). We will work hard TO KNOW HIM AND TO MAKE HIM KNOWN at every opportunity while we eagerly await His coming (John 17:3,24-26, 1 Peter 1:13-16, John 14:21).
We believe in biblical manhood (Genesis 1:27, Proverbs 4:1-6, 1 Timothy 5:1, Titus 2:1-2,6-8, Ephesians 5:25-28) and biblical womanhood (Genesis 1:27, Proverbs 31:10-31, Titus 2:3-5, Ephesians 5:22-24, 1 Timothy 5:2) as defined in scripture. We believe in traditional marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:18-24, Mark 10:6-9, Ephesians 5:21-33). We believe that God has commanded no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of that marriage between that man and that woman (Hebrews 13:4). We also believe God loves sinners (Romans 5:8) and we are called to love sinners as well (1 John 4:10,19, Luke 6:35-36). We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 1:7, 1 Timothy 1:15-16).
We are convinced that all that have died will be brought to face final judgment - believers to eternal communion with God and unbelievers to eternal separation from God (2 Corinthians 5:10, Romans 14:10-12).
